Entering Fatherhood
It is ironic that the last post made to this blog was about changes. It is ironic because I have just underwent one of the most life altering changes around: I have become a father. My first child, Ella Hope Holtsberry, was born this past Friday January 28 at 3:02 PM.
To keep family and friends up to date on the birth and growth of this beautiful baby girl I have set a web site in her honor. So for more information on her please visit the Ella Hope’s Page.
Due to some complications during birth Ella did not get enough oxygen and was immediately taken to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) after birth. Although she has made a remarkable recovery she is still at the NICU. Ella could use your prayers, as could her parents, as she strives to fully recover and come home with us. Again, for more information check out the Ella page.
Until things get somewhat stabilized I am not sure how much posting I will be doing around here. There will be plenty of time later to return to the normal subjects of this blog but ,as you can imagine, my focus is no longer on politics or sports or culture but on my baby girl and my wife.
God Bless.

Congratulations bro.
I’ll offer some belated congrats too, and immediate prayers for a full and speedy recovery for Ella.
