Lakers Get Lucky

I don’t care what Tony Pierce or Ken Layne or anyone else says – the Lakers got lucky. Shaq was hot (he was even making his free throws!) and Kobe was healthy and they barely won in LA. The refs continued to call an almost mind boggling game. It was nearly impossible to tell what was a foul and what wasn’t. Kobe ran over Mike Biby and gave him a bloody nose and the ref just stands there. There were any number of ghost fouls at crucial points. I think Sacremento knows they can beat LA. They will have the Lakers at Arco and I predict here and now that the Lakers lose.
Waddaya mean, the ref stood there when Kobe um, mugged Bibby and did nothing. He did something very important! You can see him clearly snap his forearm from the elbow down in a 1-2-3 sort of gesture.
Clearly, he was counting Bibby out…
Anyway, what the host said about the refs. They make it impossible to take the NBA seriously. It could be such a great sport if there were any logic to their conduct.

I think the lakers are gonna be awesome. once evey one sees that kobe is innocent (i love him!!) and now that we have new players like malon and payton, i think that we are gonna blow everyone out of the water!!
