Where's the outrage?

Interesting that this Global Crossing Story is not getting more heat here in Ohio (see this NYT story for details: Reports of Shredding Intensify Global Crossing Inquiry).

When the Enron scandal hit public interest and watch dog groups demanded to now what polticians were going to do (to preent another Enron, with the money that was nonated to their campaigns, etc.) It was all over the news. So far the watch dogs have been very quite about Global Crossing even though Ohio pension funds are at the heart of this one.

I am sure these public interest groups are just on summer vacation . . .
