Weekend Sports Wrap

CFL
A look at this weekend’s College Football Scoreboard we find that I was 2-1 on my predictions. Michigan got their offense going and protected the football – they win big. Ohio State easily took care of Indiana as well, but Penn State couldn’t quite come back on Iowa losing in OT.
Ryder Cup
The US couldn’t quite come back either as the Euros simply were too much and took the Cup from the favored Americans. Big name players like Phil Michaelson and Davis Love just couldn’t bring home the points. One drawback was the year delay resulted in players that are no longer playing well like Hal Sutton, Mark Calcivechia, and Paul Azinger under intense pressure to preform. It is clear, however, that European players are the match for US in any format.
NFL
A look at the scoreboard reveals another day of wild play, OTs, and upsets. St. Louis is now 0-4 and the Sand Diego Chargers are 4-0 and looking good. My picks are in shambles as I am looking at another .500 or worse week. But hey the Steelers pulled off a win so I will sleep happy!
I think the Steelers are trying to give me a heart attack.
Thank goodness we got one in the win column.
I warned you that the Steelers would have a QB controversy … it’s coming.
