Readers are probably saying “Enough Already” to my continued Crunchy Con references but hey if a blog ain’t good for repetitive rants I don’t know why they exist. This weeks slam comes to us from CharlesMurtaugh:

Speaking of stupid allegiance to naturalism, and I don’t mean nekkid people, Rod Dreher in NRO’s The Corner continues his crusade for “crunchy conservatism”, recommending this Atlantic interview with the author of a book on the “Slow Food” movement. I’ve been meaning to crap on Dreher’s parade, but really Jonah Goldberg got the better of him in their arguments a few months ago (I’m too lazy to dig up the links), and anyway his endorsement of Slow Food makes a lot of sense. It’s exactly the sort of chic self-congratulations that one would expect from today’s upper class and their champions on the right, the self-conscious rich guy’s equivalent of a Cigar Afficianado subscription.
