What a day of football. Last night two teams got on a roll early and never looked back. Today two teams got down early and fought their way back in miraculous fashion. The San Francisco Forty-Niners were down 24 points at one point, 16 in the fourth quarter and came back to win in a wacky game.
In late August I made some rather poor playoff predictions but I did pick the Steelers and Niners in the Super Bowl. Today I thought that was down the drain but both teams stormed back to keep the dream alive. Both team move on to tougher defenses but less potent offenses. Can they keep the streak going or will they experience an emotional let down? Interestingly if the Steelers beat Tennessee and Oakland beats the Jets the Steelers will have already played all of their playoff opponents in the regular season. It will be a tough road to the Super Bowl but I believe baby I believe!
