One of the main problems arises from your desire for people to trust their elected officials. There is still a significant chunk of “blue country” that can’t get over the results from the last presidential election (or they would say selection). They see no point in respecting President Bush or acknowledging his leadership, therefore no trust.

God gives us the officials we deserve, and I pray that President Bush will do the right thing, and not just the popular thing, to resolve the Iraqi situation as well as securing our future from terrorist threats.
