The demands of blogging

I am a little torn this evening. On the one hand I am tired and worn out from a hard soccer game in Ohio’s suddenly resurgent summer. Plus I want to continue reading the massive Harry Potter tome. I mean I am behind the curve here, Slate is already doing a joint book discussion on it coldly sweeping aside my book club plans.

On the other hand we have some interesting news out today as the Supreme Court has ruled on the University of Michigan affirmative action cases. The blogger in me wants to let loose a rant on the most topical subject at hand, that’s what bloggers do right?

Right now I think I will relax. Perhaps after a little rest I will post a rant or two.
