I have a soccer game to play on this beautiful Saturday in Ohio, but make sure you read Ben Domenech’s Reading and the Child’s Mind. He takes an interesting position on the Harry Potter books and their impact on children. The Order of the Phoenix is leading the Blog Book Club votes right now so this could be a subject of debate here next week. I will add my two cents then.
