I still Hate the Lakers!

Just for the record, I still hate the Lakers. Oh sure their failure to win another title this year felt good and took the sting off their success a little bit but my hate continues. I don’t care how many “hall of famers” they sign they are the devil’s team and they must be opposed.

I bet they don’t even win the Championship next year with their so called Dream Team. Egos and expectations will weigh them down, you watch.

I for one am a little annoyed that they would suggest pulling Magic’s number out of retirement so Karl Malone can wear it.

    That’s just wrong.

  2. Norbizness says:

The Jazz were my most hated of NBA teams for years. This makes the 2003-2004 most hated team and easy call (even though I love the way Gary Payton looks cocky even while he’s getting schooled). Malone’s numbers will hit the sewers, and he will be an unbridled fountain of bitchitude for the entire season.

  3. MarcV says:

I’ll have to agree with the anti-Malone sentiment. Seeing him beg for calls all game, and then tossing foul shots were bad times.

Unless Shaq finds some incentive out of the blue, he’s fat and happy with some rings on his hand and will continue his steady decline. Kobe is a head-case who does not have the skills to carry a team by himself (like his Airness or even Duncan). The young teams like Sacramento and Dallas will pull away from them even more next season, in spite of the Lakers grasping for (old) straws.

I still think the League of Extrodinary Jerks is my new title for the Lakers; more prima donnas than the Met sees in a decade.
