Playoff Predictions

I’ve been busy getting an MRI done on my !@#!#$ ankle so I don’t have time to go into a great amount of detail on the playoff games today. Here are my quick thoughts and predictions.

Steelers v. Jets-
This won’t surprise anyone but I think the Steelers win this one. I think they are more physical on both sides of the ball and I think they have more weapons on offense. I see Plaxico Burress scoring a touchdown early and Bettis and Staley pounding the ball late. Pittsburgh wins 23-13.

Falcons v. Rams-
This would is a tough call but I think the Falcons defense will come through. I think the Falcons D causes some turnovers and Vick and company do enough to win. St. Louis can score but I am not sure they can match the physical running game and athleticism (Vick) of the Falcons. Atlanta wins 30-24.

Of course this is all just gut feeling so don’t wager any money on it.
