Hump Day

The last few days I have been struggling to get back in the rhythm of everyday life let alone blogging. Mundane things like groceries, household chores, and fantasy football drafts have been getting in the way of reading and writing about books.

I am, however, almost ready to post my very first attempt at pod-casting. it has proven to be a challenge and I still have much to learn. But I hope to have it up for you by the end of the week. I also have a number of books that I have read but haven’t reviewed. I will try to start posting those soon as well. Not that I was ever a particularly prolific blogger but we should be back up to normal speeds in the next day or so. As I always I appreciate your stopping by.

If you need something to read, Robert Birbaum is up to his old tricks again. Here he talks with John Gimlette about “travel writers,” why he’s not a diplomat, post-Fidel Cuba, talk radio, and more. Here he talks with Sebastian Junger about his new book on the Boston Strangler.
